The New Normal is Not Alright



My friend Emily is a wonderful, feisty female who happens to be fighting inoperable brain cancer. She has been exhaustively fighting cancer cells very hard, with some success thanks to her treatments, but that fight (and my friend's well-being) is threatened by the GOP's irresponsible actions surrounding healthcare and medical marijuana. 

Please show your support for Senator Cory Booker in passing legislation that ends the federal prohibition of marijuana, provides restitution for those wrongfully imprisoned, and ensures that Emily gets to keep taking her medicine.

I stand for Emily, Sen Booker, my state representatives and anyone with the balls and fortitude to DO THE RIGHT THING...people's quality of life and ability to keep breathing depends on it. These are not nameless, faceless people. You may know someone that is deeply affected personally by what is happening for political gain. Stand up for them.

Contact your Senators, and be a thorn in the side of anyone who will (or won't) listen to the very real consequences that are already cascading down into the lives of your fellow citizens and humans.
