If this doesn't put a smile on your face and get you revved up to wrap presents, address christmas cards and start to put the holiday spirit into your step, then you're truly made of stone. I'm not what you would call a loyal fan of Mariah Carey, but she has her moments...and this is one of them. She has evoked a special brand of crazy in the latter part of her career, but her version of this holiday classic has easily been one of my favorites since it was released in 1994 (!). Well done, Mimi. You remind us you have natural talent and a healthy sense of humor.

And the recorder/xylophone versions of popular songs that Jimmy Fallon and The Roots have produced for the show over the past year have been genius and super charming. Add in the adorable pop-up kids in the front and this is sure to burn a swath all over the interwebs this season.

I've already watched this a number of times and can't wait to press "play" again...
