lameness, interrupted

Yes, it’s a seriously lame blog post today. Instead of spewing my negativity out into the universe, I’m simply going to offer up a new blog bell which I hope to add a few whistles to over the course of the next few months. Possibly a design overhaul if I find the time and inclination this winter.

At the top left of the blog sidebar, I’ve added a music player – this connects to my Playlist.com account, which you are encouraged to check out if you feel so obliged. If you currently have an account (it’s FREE), feel free to link to mine and let me know what you’re listening to. I have numerous playlists going and plan to add a few more (including holidays, all-Irish, a whiny Brit-pop list and mega ‘80s selections, among others which are sure to develop).

Musical suggestions from all ten of you that read this are always welcome – and when I emerge from my funk I’ll have something more substantial to post. Keep on keepin’ on while I try to turn my frown upside down. Told you this was a lame post...

Is this by any chance the Heidi Drockleman who attended Whiteland Elementary in the early-mid 80s and has a brother named Derek?
Sure is, Miss Laurie Stone! How are you? And how in the world did you find this blog? figures you'd find the worst blog entry I've entered :)

Well, two months later I found it again! Actually, I was relatively new to Facebook which started a deluge of thinking about childhood friends, and, of course, your name and face came to mind. So with some searching, here you are. The picture certainly looked like what a grown-up version of you should be (if my fifth grade mind remembers correctly!). And there can't be too many Heidi Drockelmans in the world, right?
